The number of devices that communicate exclusively via WiFi is increasing day by day at a high speed. With this, the availability of Wi-Fi networks also increases - you can usually find places where you "see" dozens of them at once, and much more than ever before, it is necessary to solve the problems of mutual signal interference.
Huge quantities of interesting and often sensitive data are literally flying through the air, so the security of wireless communication definitely cannot be taken lightly. And on top of that the huge variety of access points, from ordinary ones that you can buy "for a pittance" to super modern ones that are, of course, many times more expensive. And now how to put it all together correctly?
We are well aware of all this in our company!
In cooperation with the renowned manufacturer Ruckus, we have designed, delivered and implemented wireless networks for many of our clients as a complete solution that always took into account their specific needs.
A detailed SiteSurvey will serve as the cornerstone for the correct design, which we recommend to be carried out in order to map the propagation of the radio signal in the designated location. In the next step, we consult with the client on the expected method of use, i.e. in particular the expected number of clients, what percentage of them will be mobile phones, tablets, or laptops, the possibility of using VoIP, etc.
It does not end with the design of the type and location of access points. In a professional Wi-Fi network, its segmentation is a matter of course today, i.e. the strict separation of operational secure segments with guaranteed bandwidth from so-called guest networks, where anyone can log in under the given rules.
In order for the considerable investment in a high-quality Wi-Fi network to be fully utilized, we suggest, in addition to high-quality and secure data communication with clients, its further use, e.g. for the localization of Wi-Fi devices, or the possibility of connecting monitoring devices (IP cameras, sensors, sensors, etc.).
Our offer also includes the supply of additional SW modules created according to client requirements. We take advantage of the ability to get data about the state of the wireless network through a standard data interface from the central Wi-Fi management module down to the level of specific devices. The processing of this information allows us, in addition to creating long-term statistics, to continuously evaluate the events that have occurred and, for specific situations, ensure their reporting (sms, emails) or use warning signals (e.g. sound, light). The WiFi network thus fulfills the function of a watchdog, e.g. the presence of Wi-Fi devices in a specified area, exceeding the limit number of clients, unusual transfers of large volumes of data, etc.
